Chimney Sweeping

Over time, a chimney will develop a buildup of soot/creosote and it is therefore imperative that your chimney is cleaned to help the airflow through your chimney, ensuring the release of any toxic gases and to ensure that they are free from blockages.

Annual Services

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends you have your chimneys, fireplaces, vents and solid fuel-burning appliances (think pellet or wood stoves) inspected at least once a year. This is probably true if you only use your fireplace occasionally, on the coldest winter nights. If you fire it up several times a week, you may want to arrange a more frequent inspection and cleaning.

Chimney Inspection

The only way to truly get an accurate idea of what condition your chimney is in is to have it professionally inspected with video technology. We use state-of-the-art equipment during our video inspections, which allows us to see your chimney’s interior as it really is – not as it looks with a flashlight or still photo.

Gas Fireplace Cleaning and Repair

Keeping a regular schedule to clean your gas fireplace helps to keep your system operating at its best. Repairing a gas fireplace should only be done by a professional. Gas leaks are extremely dangerous and can put your family at risk.

Dryer Vent Cleaning and Maintenace

Lint and additional debris can build up in the clothes dryer vent which may cause your dryer to operate at less than optimum efficiency.  If a gas clothes dryer is improperly vented or the exhaust duct itself is blocked by lint or debris, carbon monoxide can be forced back into your living space. This creates potentially hazardous conditions including carbon monoxide intrusion and the possibility of exhaust fires.
